Файлаш чуйахар, File upload wizard?

Hello! Sorry for writing in English. It was noted that on this wiki there is little community activity around uploads: less than 50 "ДӀайаккха" actions in "Файл" last year.

I guess this wiki doesn't have the interest or energies to maintain complex templates and metadata, especially for EDP files. I propose to

• send users to commons:Special:UploadWizard from the sidebar and
• limit local "Файл чуйаккхар" to the "Администраторш" group (for any emergency uploads),

so that no new work is needed on this wiki and all users can have a functioning, easy upload interface in their own language. All registered users can upload on Commons.

All this will be done around 2014-09-30.

1. If you disagree with the proposal, just remove this wiki from the list.
2. To make the UploadWizard even better, please tell your experience and ideas on commons:Commons:Upload Wizard feedback.
3. In all cases, existing files will not be affected, but everyone is welcome to join m:File metadata cleanup drive. The goal is to give better credit to the authors who provided us their works.

Remove GFDL

GFDL is meant for software and it is not good for media because it makes it difficult to re-use the material. Motivated by the the wish of making it easier to re-use files Wikimedia Foundation Board decided in 2009 to stop using GFDL as a sole license per this message. • ТӀахӀиргӀеран Ӏумар It is a good idea only to use local uploads for the non-free files. But as long as it is possible to upload free files locally I think it is best only to suggest good licenses. I found a random file here Файл:Хангихой 6.jpg and it has no license. All files should have a license. Also Кеп:PD-Self looks wrong. It seems to be a mix of Public Domain (en:Template:PD-self) and GFDL (en:Template:GFDL). It is better to clean up templates before they are used because once they are used it is not possible to tell if the uploader wanted to release the photo as PD or as GFDL. --MGA73 (дийцар) 2021, 26 май, 20:25 (UTC)

ТӀахӀиргӀеран Ӏумар Updated. I also fixed Кеп:PD-Self but it needs to be translated. It could also be deleted because it is not in use.

Categories like Категори:Кепаш:Лицензи Creative Commons, Категори:Кепаш:Юкъараллин рицӀкъ, Категори:Файлаш:CC-BY-SA-3.0 and Категори:Файлаш:PD-Old-100 should be created. Perhaps en:Category:Wikipedia file copyright templates and en:Category:Wikipedia free files could be used as inspiration. --MGA73 (дийцар) 2021, 27 май, 16:49 (UTC)

I updated Декъашхо:MGA73/Licenses. I corrected names of templates from CC-BY-4.0 to Cc-by-4.0 etc and the text at the bottom is deleted (it was not supposed to be included). Sorry about not being clear. --MGA73 (дийцар) 2021, 28 май, 07:00 (UTC)
